PRIVACY & INFORMATION USE
Your information.
Under your control.
Clear answers about what this website uses, who may receive it, and how to ask us to stop contacting you.
Who runs this website?
My Protection Check is an independently operated insurance education website. It is not an insurer or a licensed insurance agency. For privacy, website operations, or consumer questions, contact info@myprotectioncheck.com.
U.S. correspondence city: Porter Ranch, California, USA. This identifies a city, not a physical mailing address or a staffed insurance office. Please use the contact email above for correspondence.
Website administration may take place in the Philippines. Our technical providers may process data in other countries. We do not promise that information stays only in the United States.
What information is used?
Right now: normal visits send technical request information to hosting infrastructure. It may include IP address, browser and device details, time, page requested and security logs. A limited pseudonymous rate counter helps protect the service.
Ask Julita accepts general insurance education questions. Its default answers come from reviewed educational material without using a language model. When you separately opt into conversational AI, your question and up to three previous short questions are processed through a privately operated model on the website operator's Mac computer in the Philippines. No name, email or health information should be entered. The website does not intentionally create a saved chat transcript or send chat messages to HubSpot; infrastructure may record request metadata and limited operational logs. AI text is not an insurance quote or personalized coverage advice.
Browser preferences include a design/hero variant cookie that may last about 30 days, and local browser preferences that stay until cleared. The guide conversation is shown in the current page; clearing it removes the displayed conversation. We use limited first-party event counts to understand which public pages and steps are useful, such as page views, questionnaire starts, completion and calendar clicks. Events contain only a timestamp, a public page category, an approved event type, a broad allowlisted campaign source and, when present, a fixed allowlisted nonpersonal post code from the campaign link. These anonymous event categories help compare campaign traffic and on-page actions without storing visitor or advertising identifiers. We do not use advertising pixels in the current release, store free-text questions, names, emails, phone numbers or medical details in those first-party event records, or sell analytics data. When a visitor expressly chooses optional Google Analytics, a Google measurement tag may load to count page views and limited approved educational interactions. The Google tag is not loaded before this affirmative opt-in, and is not loaded when a Global Privacy Control preference is detected. Analytics visits may involve Google receiving browser/IP metadata, a first-party analytics identifier/cookie and a sanitized public-page location with only allowlisted campaign tags; no contact form field values, personal insurance questions or medical answers are intentionally sent. Visitors can decline and change their optional analytics preference from the footer at any time. See Google’s Privacy Policy. Event data is retained for operational analysis and removed according to our documented 30-day rolling event-data maintenance policy.
When the separately consented California inquiry form is available: we plan to ask for name, email, California state, adult age range, insurance topic, general priorities, existing-coverage category, timing and an unchecked permission choice. A visitor who chooses to carry optional guided-review answers may also share broad household-income, number-of-dependents and business employee-size bands. We do not request exact income, Social Security numbers, medical records, policy documents, employee identities or banking details. Phone numbers, SMS enrollment and recordings are not part of this release.
Why is it used?
For delivering the educational website, responding to general questions, preventing abuse, maintaining necessary security logs, troubleshooting service problems and handling privacy requests.
For a separately authorized consent-based introduction, the purpose will be limited to replying to the specific insurance inquiry, organizing general nonmedical answers into an administrative follow-up priority and private CRM preparation note, and delivering them to Julita, the professional named near the form. An administrative score is not a decision about insurance eligibility, price, underwriting or suitability. No marketing subscriptions, texts, automated calls or unrelated lead distribution are authorized by this request.
We do not use the current educational guide to decide insurance eligibility, set prices, rank applicants for coverage, or make personalized insurance recommendations. A change in purposes, recipients or technologies will require an updated notice and, when needed, a fresh permission choice.
Who can receive information?
Hostinger: website infrastructure and related email services. HubSpot: consented California inquiry contact details, submitted nonmedical answers and administrative preparation notes for delivery to Julita, and a separate booking service when you choose to book. HubSpot scheduling: Julita’s separately hosted appointment link is publicly available. When you choose to book, HubSpot collects the name, email and meeting details you provide and makes the booking available to Julita. Merely visiting or exploring this website does not book a meeting.
Our planned initial recipient is Julita Guillermo dela Cuesta, California insurance license 0C23503, for introductions that visitors specifically request after the system is activated. We will not use a single-recipient authorization to send the same information to unrelated agents. Any professional may independently maintain records under their applicable legal duties.
We do not currently sell or resell submitted prospects, upload them to ad audiences, or allow advertising pixels to collect visitor details. If these practices ever change, we must evaluate required notices, opt-outs, vendor agreements and legal permissions before activation.
What choices and rights do you have?
You may browse without requesting an insurance introduction, clear your browser preferences, and stop or decline follow-up. When collection becomes available, permission to contact you will be separate from unrelated marketing permission.
To ask what information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, or stop follow-up, email the address below with the subject Privacy Request. Please describe the request without sending identity documents, health records or financial credentials. We may check that the requester controls the relevant account or email before sharing or changing another person's information; a request to stop future contact does not require unnecessary extra identification.
For personal data held in HubSpot, you may also submit a secure HubSpot data privacy request to request a copy or deletion. The HubSpot form may require email verification. For correction, stop-contact, website records, emails or data kept separately by Julita or service providers, please contact info@myprotectioncheck.com; the HubSpot request form does not automatically complete those other actions.
We review requests manually, coordinate with relevant service providers where necessary and explain any limits or legally permitted exceptions. We aim to acknowledge requests within 10 business days and provide a substantive response within 45 calendar days, or sooner where law requires. These are service targets, not a claim that all legal response deadlines are identical.
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) applies to this operator or a particular processing activity, additional rights may include access, correction, deletion, limits on sensitive-data use, portability, and opt-out from applicable sales or sharing. California law uses business-eligibility thresholds; not every small website automatically qualifies. We will review applicable opt-out mechanisms before ever enabling regulated advertising sharing.
We will not penalize you for exercising a privacy right. Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals do not by themselves withdraw an introduction you expressly requested; if advertising sale/sharing is introduced, applicable opt-out signal duties will first need implementation.
How long is information kept?
We keep only the data reasonably needed for the specific purpose, necessary security and abuse monitoring, permission records, privacy requests, disputes, and any applicable legal obligations. The exact routine retention and provider backup schedules are not yet verified and require separate approval before real intake opens; we do not claim an automatic deletion schedule that has not been implemented.
Deletion may not immediately remove immutable backups or another professional's independently held business records. When a permitted restoration occurs, applicable suppression or deletion decisions must be reapplied before contacting anyone again. We restrict access by role and protect the website with transport encryption and security controls; no online system can guarantee zero risk.
What about AI, calls and recordings?
Ask Julita is an automated guide and is not Julita herself. Its default mode provides curated general information. Its optional conversational mode sends only the general questions you type to the privately operated Mac AI model in the Philippines after you check the separate AI acknowledgment. The conversation is not sent to a third-party paid AI API, HubSpot or Julita; do not include identifiers, health details, policy numbers or financial information. No application, advice, premium, eligibility or appointment is created in the chat. Turn off conversational mode or clear the chat at any time.
We may add a clearly identified AI telephone assistant later. No AI telephone calls, voice recordings or transcripts are part of the current service. Before launch, the caller must be told they are speaking with AI; any recording or transcription requires appropriate notice and consent, followed by clear retention, access controls and a route to a licensed human. We will not impersonate Julita or let software independently sell, advise on, or underwrite insurance.

This notice applies to the site's current education-only operation. Before we open live insurance inquiry collection, a separately versioned notice at collection, named recipient consent and real provider-response procedures must be verified and published. A material change will appear here with a new effective date and appropriate additional notice.
